garage band is strickly Apple. You might able to find similar apps like garage band, but they are not the same.
I've tried Studio Music and PocketBand, they are no where, the same, or similar compare to what you can do with garage band and what you can do with the rest. I'm not sure with the level of accessibility for both Studio Music and PocketBand. When i used it in the pass, i use it without talkback

There's really nothing remotely similar to Garage Band on the Nexus and that is the case even more now that a 64-bit version has been released allowing up to 24 tracks of recording...Amazing!

I'm sorry...The Nexus is Google's Android tablet. I don't use Garage band on my phone, just my Mac, and iPad.

One thing I didn't understand about IOS version of Garage Band is how do we manage the Midi Input!
Will we need a bluetooth midi controler?
Another question is can I use it on the Iphone?
If so I could try it out but I don't have any bluetooth midi controler.
Cheers

I was shocked to find Apple gave me Garage Band for free on my iPad Mini. I should think this is very expensive software. I haven't used it yet though.

Garage band is free for everyone now, I believe. However, there are add-ons that you might want/need to purchase down the line. So, while they didn't get your money for the ap, they will likely make a lot more for the add-ons that you will probably purchase.

Faial, i think you can input using the touch screen or using itunes. Yes, all the add ons do cost a lot more than the initial pay app itself.
Also, Uncle Leo, don't forget your other apps that you can get for free as well. E.G. iMovies, iPhotos, and i'm not sure about Pages, Keynote and Numbers, you might even able to get those on your new iPad Mini for free as well? I know its free on new macs though. :)

Yes, there was a pop up when I started the App Store with a button to get all these free apps. Thanks.
